Systems / OS programming

I have always been interested in low-level systems and OS development. Stuff like bootloaders and schedulers.

The content out there on this at the moment is either not very accessible, outdated, or gatekept by the community.

It would be so cool to see good content on this side of programming that I see so much interest in but so few resources and such a high barrier to entry.

Would love to know your thoughts even if you don't chose to do this.
